Yes! Yes! And Yes! You may have to wait in line and it is cozy but the wait is worth it and the cozy becomes comfortable. You cannot order a bad item off the menu. I myself prefer the Italian Steak which comes with button mushrooms in a wine/butter sauce. I would love to tell you about other items on the menu but I had this the first time i visited here and love it so much i have ordered it everytime.No matter what you order the food is awesome and I have never had bad service. This is our go to place for personal celebrations.

THE BEST! This is our favorite restaurant in the whole Des Moines area! Everything we have ever ordered has been amazing. Steaks are cooked perfect every.single.time. You will have to wait for a table but I promise it is worth the wait!

Birthday celebration! The food was WONDERFUL! Prime Rib for the birthday fella, Seafood Combo for the wife, Prime Rib for the daughter, Prime Rib for the other male adult, Chicken for the other little lady. Couldn't have been better. WAYS GOOD!

Amazing food and great service. And if you love seafood I would suggest the jumbo stuffed prawns and filet!!

I consider myself to have a fairly high bar when it comes to steaks and this place did not disappoint. We both ordered the ~44oz tomahawk which is off menu. I think because it’s in limited quantities. It was perfectly seasoned and cooked. Neither one of us could finish it but we tried hard.

Went 2 times in a week on my stay in Altoona. Needless to say I travel a lot, and been a lot of places. I've never been a huge fan of prime rib but this steakhouse has the best in the country. The service at the bar was more than complementary. Cannot wait for the next time I get to visit because this steakhouse is definitely a cannot miss supper restaurant.

We had a party of 8. The food was wonderful and the service was outstanding. Our waitress was Brittany, and she did a wonderful job keeping up with our crowd along with her other tables. We will definitely be coming back!

My steak filet was tender, flavorful, and expertly prepared. Our waitress was prompt and the food was served piping hot. One of the best restaurants in Des Moines.

Steaks were Awsome. All 6 of us had Steaks. Some of Best in Des Moines area! Great service.

Stopped in because we had an electric outage in Pleasant Hill over dinner time. We were a little surprised by menu prices but SO worth it! Prime rib was perfect as was the steak salad. Dressings for salads were also very good. And, the service was spot on. We will be back.

Wow it's still a great place to eat and I haven't been in there since the 90s!! Excellent food!! Excellent service!! Very hard to find both these days!! Definitely going back very soon!! Call ahead for reservations that really helped!!
